Harcon Services was formed by Paul Harvey in March 2000 having resigned the position of Contracts Manager for Unistrut for some eight years and four years previous as the Northern Based Senior Designer.

A number of months later Geoff Hickman, also with 18 years experience with Unistrut, joined the company. His responsibilities are sales and marketing of our services.

Earlier this year (2001) we further increased our staff to deal with the administration and aid with contract procurement. The company is now in the process of increasing the workforce again to employ a trainee estimator and designer.

We employ up to 20 experienced sub-contract fitters at a time based throughout the country to install various types of safety equipment systems on our behalf, many teams working virtually on a full time basis for Harcon Services.

What are the main functions offered by Harcon Services? We specialise in the design, supply, installation and commissioning of various forms of safety equipment, fall arrest systems, personal protective equipment, Guarding, Handrailing, Walkways, Steps, and Ladder Systems.

Our other area of expertise is in the design, supply and installation of Modular Structures, Facia Support Frames and Service Grids using Unistrut Type channel sections.

Our company goals are to increase our sales and customer database by offering the best service and value for money on all our safety equipment, fall arrest systems and personal protective equipment.
