ARIANA
HORIZONTAL LIFELINE

The ARIANA system is a permanently installed horizontal stainless steel anchorage line also referred to as a lifeline or safety line. A shuttle slides along a cable attached permanently to a structure. Connected to the shuttle by an interconnecting device such as a lanyard with an energy absorber or a fall arrester, it enables the user to move along the system safely, without needing to unhook.

 

The ARIANA system is a useful user friendly method of gaining safe access to areas local to potential fallhazards when used with the correct personal protective equipment.

The system can be directly fixed to steelwork, brickwork or concrete structures for wall, floor and even ceiling mounted applications, capable of operating on inclined surfaces up to 15°.
For roof works the ARIANA system can be fastened to purpose built conventional tubular posts fixed through the roof sheet to the main portal frame or via stainless steel Protecta top fix anchorage posts which are fixed to the roof outer profile sheet using structural rivets or clamping assemblies for standing seam roof profiles.

The ARIANA system complies with EN 795 class C anchorage devices.

Each system is installed, inspected and certified in accordance with the British code of practise BS 7883 : 1997

As part of the ISO9001 certification, quality inspection is carried out on the Ariana components by means of batch testing. Individual x-ray inpection is carried out on the shuttle.

All the fixed components of the ARIANA system such as: cable, intermediate supports, tensioner, energy absorber, clevis, end plate, corner assembly and top fix post are manufactured from 316L or 304 stainless steel.
