Horizontal track Systems.

Harcon Services Limited, can design, supply and install a number of Horizontal Track based systems for either Abseiling or fall arrest applications.

Fixed using either standard brackets to steelwork, concrete or masonry structures. Or using specially designed brackets to our own specification.

Supplied in various materials and finishes.

Herewith are just but a few options at our disposal:

 

Metrack system

Can be installed as an abseil device or as a fall arrest device.

The photograph above shows the system in use as abseiling system.

There are various track sizes that allow for increased number of users and increased fixing centres. System supplied in zinc plate or Galvanised steel finish.

Also available in stainless steel or powder coated when the appearance is paramount.

 

Track system shown above is fixed direct to the concrete soffit using suitable anchors.

Each being site pull tested to suit the SWL of the system.

Tracks supplied in 3mtr or 6mtr standard lengths, being built up on site and joined together with splice joints.

End stops and rubber buffers are installed at either end.

 

For use in internal or external applications for multiple users if required.

Track due to its rigidity is ideally suited for use with inertia fall arrest blocks that run freely along the
track without snagging unlike some cable based systems.

Track can also be supplied in curved sections to run around horizontal sections and also inclined to suit alterations in levels.

As shown below the Metrack system can be adapted to form a lattice support beam to accommodate greater spans.
