The Solution
Harcon’s Technical Sales Engineer reviewed the issued drawings and produced a mock Kee Line lifeline design tailored to the roof layouts across the development. This design demonstrated how a horizontal lifeline system could be installed to allow safe and efficient movement across all relevant roof areas.
Alongside the mock design, Harcon provided a detailed quotation clearly outlining the scope of works, compliance standards, and installation methodology. This early design support allowed the contractor to submit their tender with confidence, knowing that the fall protection element had been fully considered and accurately costed.
Once the works package was secured, an order was issued to Harcon and the project was scheduled in line with the wider construction programme. Harcon coordinated closely with the contractor to ensure installation dates aligned with roofing works, helping to maintain programme efficiency.
The solution involved the installation of Kee Line horizontal lifeline systems, selected for their flexibility, durability, and ability to provide continuous attachment across a wide range of roof types. The system ensures users can move freely and efficiently while remaining securely connected at all times.
